Top 5 Favorite March Purchases

Happy Easter everyone!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their Easter weekend.  I know some of us are probably pretty disappointed we can't celebrate with the traditions we practice every year (I know I am), but perhaps this will be an opportunity to start some new traditions that we can pass through the generations along with the stories of our time in quarantine.  

I made this usual monthly post on my top 5 favorite purchases from March and thought it would be a nice distraction from everything going on.  Let's dive in!

J Crew Silk Top Knot Headband ($7.50)

You know already that I am obsessed with the headband trend right now and J Crew Factory has so many simple and affordable options if you are looking to add some new accessories to your wardrobe that are both feminine and functional.  This pretty blue one matches so many of my summer outfits and was beyond excited to find it at 50% off.  Right now it has been further reduced to 60% off!  I also got this on in pink (ofcourse) and both stay neatly in place and add a touch of color to your hair without overpowering your outfit.  Plus the satin finish can easily be dressed up or down.  

Beaded Headband ($24)

I just found out (like 5 minutes ago) that this beaded headband is no longer available but there is a wait list you can sign up for.  So I feel silly for posting it bu there is another option in pink with beautiful beaded flowers that looks to be in the same exact style as my blue one.  This headband is more weighted but beautifully put together with wide side bands flashing the intricate bead work and a ribbon cinching in in at the crown of the head.  It's a true statement piece that draws attention!

Bird-of-Paradise Earrings ($53-28% off)

Let me forward you, these earrings are BIG.  They are a true statement earring that I didn't anticipate until I opened them and saw what a statement they make!  I bought them to go to Cancun with me but they make such a fun and bold addition to my jewelry and I can't wait until I can wear them out.

Charlotte Tillsbury "Pillow Talk" Matte Lipstick ($34)

This has become my go-to lipstick for anything but especially when I am running late and don't have time to do a lot of make up.  A few swipes of this lipstick and I look like I tried (when I didn't).  It works because it is basically the same color as my natural lip shade but somehow better, if you know what I mean.  

Kate and Mari Mini Petal Studs in Pearl ($85)

I saved the best for last!  Y'all I'm so in love with these gorgeous stud earrings.  I have tried to make a point to myself to by one thing from a small business during this time of uncertainty and this is one of my favorite purchases so far!  I came across this shop on Instagram and was instantly drawn to their unique designs with freshwater pearls. The shop is run buy a few ladies down in Miami and each piece is made once your place your order.  After waiting about a week I received mine and fell in love all over again when I pulled them out of the package.  They also come with a velvet pouch to store them.
