Top 5 Favorite Purchases in February

Happy Monday (evening)!
So I don't know about you but today was the Monday-est Monday I've had in a long time.  I found 5 white hairs on my head (I'm 27) and then dropped my clean laundry in the mud while bringing it into my apartment.  Ugh.  But I'm excited to finally tell you about my favorite purchases from February.

Let's dive in!

1. Thrifty find

I am so excited about this basket I picked up at Goodwill for $6. I keep seeing adorable baskets everywhere but, to be honest, I didn't want to spend the money on one with my upcoming trip to Mexico.  So I went to a few Goodwill stores and finally found this gem!  It's actually part of an old toy tea set so I pulled out the toys, gave them to a family friend, tied a white bow on the handle, and, tada!  A unique basket that no one else will have.  Plus, get this, the book I'm taking on vacation perfectly fits on the inside.  It was meant to be!

2. Sunglasses

If you anything like me (round face, cheeky-cheeks, you know) then there aren't many sunglasses that "fit" your face.  I've been gravitating towards over-sized, square/cat eye shades for a while and they always seem to be the most flattering for us full-faced-folk.  This pair from Target were both affordable and flashy.

3. Summer Wedges

I. Love. These shoes.  Soooooo much.  First off if you want to be 5 in taller this summer then these shoes got your back.  I bought these for Mexico to help fix a slight wardrobe malfunction with a dress I bought and can't wait to wear them out for the rest of summer.

4. Leggings

I talked about these leggings in a previous post (click here if you'd like to read it) and I stand by them.  They are my go to when I am home for the night or when I need to run a quick errand.

5. Investment Shoes

I saw these shoes on Lonestar Southern and fell in love with them immediately.  They are incredibly versatile in that they can be word with jeans or a cocktail dress without missing a beat.  The low heal makes it easy to walk in (*side eyes my wedges) and the upper is made out of leather.  It is a more expensive purchase ($195) however Tuckernuck offers an "after pay" option that allows you to make 4 interest free payments to make the price more manageable.  My only complaint is that on the first day wearing them, someone stepped on my heal and ripped some of the leather.  It's fixable but disappointing, but leather is a soft material so I'm not surprised.

There you have it!  My February Favorites in the second week of March (I tried lol).

Hopefully your Monday didn't find your laundry in the mud.

Love from Brew City,

x Jess
